Common Questions…

Q: What are your rates?

A.       For Boarding, we charge $25 per night-stay for the first dog, each dog after that is $20 per night.  Cats are $15 per night. We offer a 5% active military discount, if that applies. Grooming rates are quoted on a “per dog” basis…text or call for details.

Q:  What size are the kennels?

A.       Our standard kennels are 4 ft. by 8 ft.  We also have two larger kennels for our large breed dogs and families of dogs that board together, which are 6 ft. by 8 ft.

Q:  Are the kennels indoor/outdoor?

A.       Our kennels are all indoor, with a constant temperature of 70 degrees--warm and toasty in the wintertime, cool and comfortable in the summer.

Q:  How many times do the dogs get to go outside?

A.      We begin our day by taking each dog outside, either for a walk or exercising in the play pen.  Once each dog has been outside, and all kennels have been cleaned, we then serve breakfast and fresh water. If any dog seems anxious or “tells” us that they need to go outside again, we take them out for another walk or more playtime.  Quiet time is next and all the dogs settle down for naps.  In the evening, we do the same routine again.  We find that this helps our guests settle in faster and relieves any anxiousness because they know what to expect.  When your dog comes back to visit again, they settle right in because they know exactly what they will be doing while they stay with us!

Q:  Do the dogs socialize together?

A.      While your dog stays with us, they will only be socialized with us. Most dogs may do well with other dogs, but they may behave differently in a kennel environment.  We want to keep everyone safe while they stay with us! (If you see pictures of our facility that have multiple dogs playing together, it is because they came in as a family and play together as a family.)

Q: What should I bring for my dog?

  1. Food: We recommend that you bring your pet’s food to keep tummies from being upset. Treats are welcome, too. We ask that you bring these in a sealed container, with your pet’s name on it.

  2. Medications: We are happy to give any medications necessary to keep your pet healthy and happy while they stay with us. We require all medications to be brought in the original container that they were prescribed in.

  3. Bedding and Toys: You can bring any bedding or toys that is safe for your pet to have while unsupervised.

Q: Where are you located?

A. Most GPS/Navigation units will NOT find us…please follow our directions below. We are located 1 mile south off of DD Hwy, halfway between Warrensburg and Whiteman AFB. From DD Hwy, turn SOUTH on SE 581
